Evolution of gene expression, development, and genomes.
Biological Sciences @ Mississippi State
We research how diversity arises from the interaction between development, genomes, and the environment. To do this, we use computational (*omic) and developmental approaches to better understand the evolution of genes, their expression, the networks they compose, and the bodies they construct. Horned beetles are our primary study system, though we welcome the opportunity to work on any organism that helps address these questions (see Research). We are actively recruiting at all levels! If our research interests you, please reach out or see People for more details.
